Take Exit 36 off M6 onto A590. Follow signs for Barrow, through Newby Bridge and Backbarrow as far as Greenodd. At Greenodd turn right onto A5092 and follow signs for Millom. At Hallthwaites turn left onto A5093 to Millom. On entering Millom turn right at the railway bridge/corner garage. After 400m turn left (signed Haverigg) and follow signs to the centre of the village and Harbour Hotel. At the lamp post in the centre of the road turn left over the bridge, follow road until you come to the caravan park, take first right and head down to the lake.
